2025 BMW i4 and 4 Series Gran Coupe: Refined Design, Enhanced Tech

BMW has unveiled the refreshed 2025 i4 and 4 Series Gran Coupe, bringing notable updates to both the all-electric and combustion engine variants of its premium midsize lineup. Exterior Updates: Subtle Yet Significant

The 2025 refresh brings several visual enhancements to both models. The signature BMW kidney grille receives a new matt chrome surround, with the i4 featuring a fully enclosed upper section topped by a distinctive matte-silver honeycomb pattern. The combustion-powered 4 Series Gran Coupe models sport redesigned air intakes with matte Quartz Silver mesh surfaces.

A major highlight is the new lighting system. The 2025 M440i Gran Coupe models receive an upgraded B58B30M2 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder engine with 48V mild hybrid technology. The system combines:

• 375 hp from the TwinPower Turbo engine
• 11 hp boost from the electric motor
• Total system output of 386 hp and 398 lb-ft of torque
• 0-60 mph in 4.3 seconds with xDrive

The 430i variants feature an enhanced B48B20O2 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, also with 48V mild hybrid technology, producing 255 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque.

Advanced Technology

The latest generation of BMW iDrive with QuickSelect brings a more intuitive interface based on BMW Operating System 8.5. Key features include:
