Authors and Bylines

How to read MotorLinks bylines without turning them into mythology.

What a MotorLinks Byline Means

MotorLinks uses recurring bylines and staff labels to organize coverage areas and create a consistent editorial voice across the site. Unless a profile explicitly states otherwise, a byline should be read as an editorial desk label, not as a public employment biography or a claim that one named person personally tested every vehicle mentioned.

Editorial Responsibility

Every article remains MotorLinks editorial work. We are responsible for the sourcing, claims, links, captions, and corrections on the page regardless of which byline appears.

Common Bylines

Marcus Holloway

News desk

Used primarily for industry news, policy, automaker strategy, EV market shifts, and business context.

Sophia Reinhardt

Features desk

Used primarily for explainers, long-form trend pieces, technology context, and buyer-relevant analysis.

Siena Walker

Review and comparison desk

Used primarily for comparison, spec-analysis, and review-style coverage. First-hand testing is labeled when applicable.

Jay Seem

Editorial desk

Used for broader editorial context, site-level perspective, and selected analysis.

Motorlinks Team

Staff label

Used when a piece is best presented as site-wide editorial work rather than a single desk voice.
